the inevititable crash

As an absolute beginner and after reading numerous
computer guides which always stress the need to regularly
back up your computer files, I cannot find a back-up
facility in windows XP. Home Edition. It is not in
accessories, system tools where I imagine it should be. I
have downloaded lots of new files, so , how on earth do I
proceed? Is this facility not installed during a Windows
installation?.........Ta very much for any assistance

Its not installed by default on Home Edition, the installer for NTBackup
should be on your Windows XP Home installation CD in the folder
\ValueAdd\MSFT\NTBACKUP
However some OEM computer manufactures may choose not to put it on their
CD's.
