Hey,

Anyone got any recommendations for a quality TFT DVI monitor? Preferably 17+ and one that has good results when used for gaming.

Thanks.

Here's a few to consider, all plus postage.

All from Overclockers, except for last two, from Komplett.

Philips monitors also worth considering and avoid LG, in my opinion.

Hyundai Imagequest L72D+ 17" LCD Monitor - Silver/Black 8ms. £182.00

Samsung SM730BF 17" 4ms. LCD £217.00

Viewsonic VX724 17" LCD Monitor 4ms. £258.00

Viewsonic VP171B-2 17" LCD Monitor - Black 8ms. £254.00

IIyama 17" ProLite E431S-B3 TCO-99 Monitor, Black, DVI-D, D-sub, 8ms £199.00

Sony 17" LCD HS75PB X-Black Monitor, Black, DVI, 8ms £269.00

Why avoid LG?

Because they have the highest failure rate of any manufacturer, that's why.

Anything LG, not just Monitors.

I know this through personal experience, working on a repair bench, and reading through many forums.

But, if you want to buy LG, be my guest, don't say I didn't warn you ;)

Was looking at the Xerox XA7-19i Glassfront 19 inch TFT Monitor from overclock.co.uk - any comments on that one?
