Text Box Retains Focus - q818505

Hi,

IE6 SP1 has a scroll problem where a text box retains focus. So when you
click on a scroll bar, the text body will not 'scan'/move correctly.
Typically it jumps to the bottom of the text box.

We found the q818505.exe which 'says' it should fix it. We downloaded it.
On our IE6SP1 machine which runs Win2k SP4, a msgbox pops saying it can only
run on IE6 SP1 (which we are running).

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
 
The error message is telling you that Q818505's fix (MSHTML.DLL
v6.0.2800.1129) has been superceded by a later version, possibly
v6.0.2800.1276 as installed via Q824145/Nov-03 Cumulative Patch for IE.
However...

This or similar problems remain with us after installing v6.0.2800.1276:

We have also confirmed that this occurs on our system. I
am trying to figure out how to contact MS to report this
as an IE bug.
