Text Box Background

Hi - I am creating text boxes over a picture (faux filling in the boxes on a
document), however when I'm typing in my data, the text box turns blue (I
suspect as my slides are blue) and I cannot see my text (alos blue, but black
is problematic as well). Is there a way to change the default background for
editing?

Thx

Thanks for that. I'm using PP 2003, I can get to the color schemes through
Format>Slide design, but when I edit Color Schemes, it shows the Background
as already white. The only option set to blue is Accent, and changing it to
white doesn't resolve the issue.

Any insight appreciated!

In Color Schemes as you described, if the background is white, what color is
the text swatch?

'Text and Lines' and 'Title Text' are both black.

Hm. That should show up against a white background, then.

Which version of PPT are you using?

Probably the background you see isn't the "true" background that
PowerPoint
sees. More detail here:
