Test page prints ok, but cant print from a program

I had a spool problem earlier, fixed the problem, and just reinsalled my
printer. Well I can print a test page but I cannot print from any of my
programs.....
does anyone know what might be the problem.
 
Are you clicking on the print icon or using File Print from the menu?
 
I have tried both, the icon on the tool bar and the print comand from the
file menu. I cant figure it out.
