Terminal Services User Profiles

Hi

Can anyone help...

I'm in the middle of configuring Windows 2000 TS and when
the user profiles are created they are by default created
on the C:\documents and settings\<username> folder.

Cause I have limited space on my C drive I would prefer if
the user profiles are created on the D drive as I have
40GB of disk space on this drive and it would also keep
the profiles away from the operating system on the C Drive.

What I would realy like to do is change the default so
that the profiles are not created on the C:\documents and
settings\<username> but on D:\documents and
settings\<username>

You cannot change before they get created BUT you can move them after they
are already there. There is an article in the TechNET KB explaining how to
move the location of the profile cached copy. Just look for these words
there.

With Windows NT, it was simply a matter of changing the default
directory in the Registry.

Well to be honest I am not 100% sure if you can change in one spot and all
the new profiles get that.
Usually I do not change that as Windows 2000/2003 can have a C: drive as
large as you want.
And using roaming profiles (if you are using them) you can delete the cached
copy so no space is used at all. )
