Terminal Services Manager Snapin

L

Lakshman

Whenever I go to Start--> Programs--> Administrative
Tools --> Terminal Services Manager, the console does not
open. It stays minimized at the bottom of my desktop, I
can go to Task Manager and see it running. I can click on
the task and click on "Bring To Front" and it brings it on
the desktop but it still remains frozen and I cannot click
on any part of the screen. I have already uninstalled and
installed Terminal Services using Add Remove Windows
Components. Has anyone else faced the same problem? Any
help or pointers in the right direction would be greatly
appreciated.
Lakshman.

Logged in as yourself, go to this registry key:

HKCU\\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server
\TSADMIN

Delete the "Placement" value and exit Regedit.

Now run the Terminal Services Manager and you should be able to
find it.

The problem is that at some point the TSM window position settings
were saved in a high-resolution session; with it running in a low-
resolution session, those values position it off the viewable
screen.
