Terminal Services Launch Local Application

Is there a way in terminal services to launch a local application? For example, an application running on the terminal service client needs to launch Word on the client's normal (not term serv or server) desktop

Is this possible?
 
No, this is not a native feature of Windows TS. It's possible with
Citrix on top of Windows TS (called "content redirection").
