terminal server printing

Hi All,

I have a XP machine with a HP laserjet 1012. This is connected via USB
cable. When I log onto the Terminal server the laser is not showing up.
The port is showing up as the DOT port that it is connected to. Why would
this not be showing.

Have you checked the EventLog on the TS?
You'll probably find EventID 1111, 1105, and 1106, telling you
that the driver could not be found on the server.

Unfortunately, the usual solution to map the driver to a native
driver on the server is probably not going to solve your problem,
since the HP 1012 is not supported under TS, as documented here:

This worked for me, I had the exact issue with the USB connected laserjet 1012.
