Terminal server locks up

I have a problem on a windows 2000 server sp4, all the hotfixes, and a pre-sp5 hot fix
we have about 20 people running the same program in terminal services, and a few people running programs in Citrix XP FP2 SP2
Every 2 days or so the server stops accepting connections and drops existing connections. The server is running at about 57%cpu but we cannot get onto it from the keyboard. It is acting as if the cpu has got into a loop and cannot get out, and all we can do is pull the power. The server is a DL380 G3 P4 2.4Ghz xeon with 2.5 Gb of memory. At the time of the crash the total processes are at 180-200
There are not event logged that show any errors, and there is nothing in the hardware fault log
Any ideas

Noel,

I have been experiencing a similar situation. Sorta! I
am not experiencing the CPU at 57%. My situation is
caused by printing - or so I believe. I am still working
on it with Vera Noest.

What happens with us is that the ladies in the remote
offices ( three in total ) are printing several documents
of significant size ( this is an Insurance Company ) in
rapid succession. The odd thing is that this can happen
five or six times throughout the day and then the next
time the TS freezes, which in turn freezes the ladies.
Or, it can happen the first of second time that this
bombardment occurs. There is not real pattern that I can
distinguish.

We have a Dell PowerEdge 2650 with dual 2.4GHz Xeons with
2GB of physical RAM and 2GB Virtual Ram. It is a RAID5
configuration with three 36.2 GB Ultra320 HDDs with about
58GB of free space. There is only one partition. I have
increased the size of the registry from 80MB to 120MB. We
were having a ton of 1000 Errors ( userenv ) but I was
able to clear them up with a couple of patches that Vera
was kind enough to suggest. We are running WIN2000 SP3 on
a Member Server. Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 SP3 is running on
top of that. The users natually are making a Citrix
Connection.

It has been quiet the last two days. Don't know why. I
am monitoring this with great frquency.

Does any of this sound familiar? Is there anything in
common between our two situations that might help you?
