terminal server licensing

I have on pc connecting to a windows 2000 terminial
server. The fist time I connect I can login without an
issue. If I try and connect again I can't connect until
I delete the license key on the client, then I can
connect again. This is the only machine that acts like
this. Any ideas
Thanks

It means that on the first connection, the client is given a
temporary license (this is the default behaviour). On the second
connection, it should be given a permanent TS CAL, but that doesn't
happen.
What does the EventLog have to say?
Either the TS cannot locate the LS, or there are no more available TS
CALs on the LS, or there is a problem with the connection, which
makes that the TS CAL cannot be send to the client.
Is this client on a LAN?
Have you verified in TS Licensing manager that your other clients are
issued permanent TS CALs? Maybe they are still running within the 90-
days grace period and will also soon stop connecting?
