Term Server only pulls administrator printers

I am using terminal services on windows 2000.

It seems that normal user accounts' printers are not being pulled and
populated by terminal server. When I login with an administrator
account, everything works fine and all the printer instances are
created. When I login with a typical user account, none of the
printers are pulled. This is all on the same computer.

Thoughts ?

Make sure that various printer's security permissions are set to allow
use by all users? That's the first thing I would check.

Also, I had a situation where a locally attached printer would not show
up in a terminal services session. I placed the following patch in the
registry of a machine running W2K and it fixed the problem.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server
Client\Default\AddIns\RDPDR]
"FilterQueueType"=dword:ffffffff

Hope this helps.
