Temporary Internet Files Policy

N

Nick Richards

Hi All.
We have a W2000 TS, and we are attempting to apply group
policy to limit the size of users temp internet files.
When in User Config/Windows settings/IE
Maintenance/Advanced, double clicking on the corporate
settings simply closes down the group policy editor.
The inetcorp.adm file is in the correct spot, and have
even copied it across from another machine. Have also
tried resetting the browser settings and entering
preference mode again, but still no luck.
Have tried to apply the policy at Domain level and OU
level with same negative results.
Any suggestions?

Hi Nick,

If you have installed the hotfix from Q316116, or applied Internet Explorer 6 Service
Pack 1 (SP1), see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:
