I have a document that I want to turn into a template. I can't find where to
save it, so I can use it as a template. I copy and pasted into the 1033
folder but that doesn't make it into a template.

How do i save allready created document as a template? So others can use?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations. Note the
folder designated for "User Templates". That's where you want to
save your template.

File > Save As ...
Change the file type to document template. You will automatically be
switched to your user templates folder. For more on the different kinds of
templates, tabs on the file new dialog, and locations of templates folders
see http://addbalance.com/usersguide/templates.htm.
