Telephony Service - Remote Access Connection Manager

Hello,

i must restart the Telephonie Service often due configuration changes. I
discoverd a problem on the Remote Access Connection Manager
(depending service) - once this service is started you cannot stop it. A
standard error message is display that the service cannot be stopped - no
entry in the event log.

I tried these on some differnt machines (2000, 2003, even XP), different
service packs and so on. On the most of these computer you cannot stop the
service. I can't discover a schema of this error.

Any ideas ?

Seems to be by design. You have to disable the service and restart
Windows to stop it.
