TCP/IP version 6??

E

Ernie Sampera

I am currently using XP Pro and XP home in a home network - should I use the
TCP/IP V6 protocol in this network? Does it cause undue overhead? Any
benefits to also using this IP protocol in addition to the std tcp/ip v4?
Any insight is welcome

not really. IP6 mainly adds more IP addresses to the mix, as the world is
rapidly running out of 32-bit addresses.

No, at this point you likely do not need to run IPv6
