I am getting this message when I try to sync my CE based
PDA and also when I try to get onto my DSL Line with my
browser.

Is the transport a hardware concern or has the XP
Operating system failed.

I have had several power hits, with a ups support but
even this timed-out.
Help!
I need my e-mail

Hi, Ralph -

TCP-IP is integral to Windows XP and as you've probably
found out, cannot be uninstalled.

It is possible to reset the TCP-IP stack to default
settings by using the 'netsh' utility - you can find more
information here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;299357

If that doesn't solve your problem I'd take a close look
at hardware.

Good luck!
