Taskbar

I have a taskbar that will not show any open programs and
cannot be dragged to any other edge of the screen. It is
not locked. Has the quicklaunch toolbar turned on (if it
is turned off, the taskbar becomes a little line at the
bottom of the screen and still cannot be dragged up)
Everything I have tried to correct this has failed. any
suggestions?

Hi Steve,

The thin line appears when the Taskbar is unlocked. What other toolbars do
you have added? If the mini-bar for WMP, remove it to see if the behavior
changes.

Also could you post the list of updates that you have installed on your
system? Or you can export this key and send it to me via e-mail:
