Undocking Taskbar Items

I recently installed Office 2003 on my machine (Running XP-Pro). Prior to the
install, my quicklaunch toolbar was attached to the Right Side of the
desktop. After the install, the quicklaunch toolbar is a part of my taskbar
and I'm unable to drag and drop the quicklaunch bar off of the taskbar. Other
folks in my office have not upgraded to Office 2003 and are able to drag and
drop the quicklaunch toolbar to their desktop.
Any ideas on why I'm unable to move anything off the taskbar? Everything is
unlocked. And, when I do drag the toolbar, the icon does show a small gray
box, as if it is trying to move it. But once I release the mouse button,
nothing happens.
