Toolbars missing from taskbar after each reboot

Hi,

each time I reboot my laptop or explorer crashes, I miss all my
toolbars in the taskbar (quicklaunch, ...). I have tried all Kelly's
corner tweaks, taskbarrepair.exe utility and lots of other things, but
the toolbars keep dissappearing.

Would anybody help to make my weekend a bit brighter? : )

Thanks,
Fran

This happens most likely because your current account has
insufficient rights to modify the registry value that is responsible
for the toolbars. There are two ways to resolve the issue:

- Find out which values are relevant, then change the permissions
for that key. I do not know where they are.
- Temporarily elevate your account to "Administrator" status,
then set the toolbars the way you like them, then log off. They
should now stick.

Thanks for your help, but I am already an Administrator of the system
and this happens over again.

If the problem became apparent recently, use System
Restore to go back a few days before it started.

If this is not an option then you need to find out if the
problem affects other accounts too. If it is limited
to your own account then you may have to create a new
account and copy the various settings across.
