My Taskbar is making me mad. First it did not show any aaplication button
anymore, then it just disappeared. I can see it is hidden cause of some
messages from startup programs, it is like when is on auto-hide but it does
not appears at all. It is something so simple i can't get, or have i catched
a virus?

Please reply soon.

Many thanks, Claudio

What happens when you press the "Windows key" (or Ctrl+Esc) on your
keyboard? That should bring up the Start menu and the Taskbar.

Good luck

Hi Ron,

Many thanks for your help. Pressing Ctrl+esc worked to get to the Start menu
and eventuelly i got my taskbar back. However, ( I must sound very desperate)
I have now on it an address bar and still does not get the application
buttons minimised. Any suggestions? By the way you are a star!!!

Right-click on the taskbar and select Toolbars. Which ones are
selected (have checkmarks)?
Click on any of the ones (other than Quick Launch if you use it) that
have checkmarks to uncheck them.

Good luck
