Hi all
Am attempting to drag and drop a desktop icon into the taskbar but am

the correct way. Many thanks.

Right click the Taskbar, then choose "Unlock Taskbar" from the menu. You
should now be able to drag the shortcut to a spot somewhere near the "Start"
button.

Hi Franktee,

Right click the taskbar, if "lock the taskbar" is checked, uncheck it by
clicking on it.

You have to drag it onto a toolbar (like the quick launch area) or the
actual start menu button.
