Taskbar Button Placement

Hello,

I just recently upgraded my operating system to Windows Vista Business.
After the upgrade completed, I noticed that every time I open up a program,
the taskbar button opens up and immediatly goes to the far right of the
taskbar. This will happen when I have one program open as well as several
programs open. I can't figure out why this is happening and any pointers
and/or advice on how to correct the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Right click on the task bar and uncheck lock the toolbar. Then see if any
divider is pulled way to the right side.
