Task Manager

I am having an issue with opening the task manager. When I press
ctrl+alt+del nothing happens. I have tried restarting and trying again
before I do anything on the comp. I have not adjusted the display size or
anything. Nothing else is out of place or functioning abnormaly. Any ideas?

Does it work when you right click on an empty area of the taskbar and
select "Task Manager"?
