In previous versions of Windows, when something went wrong with a program,
all you needed to do was hit ctrl-alt-delete to end whatever it was that was
having a problem. Now, when I try that, the "task manager" takes an
incredible amount of time coming up and if you hit c-a-d more than once, one
pops up for everytime you try. Then it's back and forth a dozen or so times
trying to end the program, endlessly going from the task manager to the "end
program now" box (why can't they make "OK" the default choice so you don't
have to place the cursor on it manually? What a pain in the ass.) until I
finally give up and just turn off the computer. Is this just my computer or
is this another way of microsoft making things easier by making things work
worse (and don't even get me started on their "back-up" program. Thank
heaven for DVD burners.).
Thanks a bunch
