Task Manager menu bar missing

When I bring up the task manager, the window is
incomplete. It's missing all the tabs (applications,
processes, performance, ...), and the menu bar (file,
options, ...). Even the window title bar is missing.

All I have is a table of processes (guess that's the last
tab I was on). Since the window title is missing, the
only way to close the window is to find taskmge.exe in
the list and click the END PROCESS button.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Alt + F4 works like any windows program. Ctrl + Tab will move through tabs. Dbl click the border or graph will toggle mini mode on and off.

Open Task Manager and double-click anywhere on the top Window border.
Somehow, you managed to convert Task Manager to run in "Tiny Footprint Mode".

Yeah, that fixed it. I didn't know it had a "tiny
footprint mode". Live & learn, I guess.

Thanks

move the mouse cursor any place on the off-white area of
the inside edge of the task manager window, and double
click the mouse button. That will return the window to
default view, showing the tabs and title bar.
