My Task Manager lost its menu bar, title bar, etc ... (why?)

Hi,

Recently the Task Manager of my home XP windows suddenly lost its title
bar, menu, and tabs. The only thing left is the list box with current
running processes and their relative information. The only way to turn
it off is to hit alt-F4 because its x (closing) button at the top right
corner and menu bar both disappear. Does anybody know what's happening
to my task manager? Your help is much appreciated.

If sounds as if you have Task Manager running in "Tiny
footprint mode".Double click the border to restore it to its
original appearance.

Why is part of my Task Manager gone?

It's in small footprint mode. Double click on a border.

Double-Click on the border of the dialog window to expand.

You are currently in "small footprint" mode.

You're running in what's called "Small Footprint Mode." To change back and
forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the border.

You got to this mode by accidentally double-clicking on the border without
realizing it.
