Is there anyway to set the boot up order? This is what's happening. Often
when XP is booting up, Magic Networks loads, then Ypops, S3 control taskbar
utility, volume meter, local area connection...then my wireless connection,
then Zone Alarm security suite. Now sometimes when ZA loads, the wireless
connection icon will go away and load again AFTER but everything is ok and
I'm online. But recently it hasn't automatically done that, so what I have
to do is take the wireless USB plug out of the port, and put it back.
Windows then recognizes it, reloads it, and I'm online. But I'm thinking I
shouldn't have to do that. ZA *might* have something to with it, I don't
know, but I'd like to check it by everything loading in the order that *I*
decide. Anyway to do that? Thanks.

frankly, i wouldn't launch
some of those programs you
mentioned and instead uninstall
them.

however, since those are your
programs of choice, what you
can do is to download a third
party freeware that manages
the startups.

basically, you would need this
one program listed in your
startup. and when it does, it
will then begin the process
of launching your programs
the way you need them too.

there are a multitude of startup
managers available as freeware
that you can google for.
