Driver Boot Order

Is there a way to change the boot order of the drivers that load in
Windows XP?

We have a desktop that is setup for wireless access. We also have an
HP USB Wireless Print Server. The Print server driver loads first
then looks for the network. It can't find it because the Wireless
Driver for the PCI card has not loaded yet then stops looking.
Consequently, after the Wireless card connects you have to manually
connected the print server.

Any Ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

Have you checked for a Print Server update ? How is the Print Server
driver called ? ( From the Services in the Registry or as a startup entry ).
Before you make any changes you might want to examine the Event logs
and see if dependency services are having issues that might explain the
sequencing issue.
Event Log:
Click Start, Run ( type ) EventVwr.Msc [Enter]
*Best to clear both System & Application logs and reboot then examine
from a known state.
