Tascam SUCKS - USB sound card crashing the system

I've recently bought a Tascam US-122 external soundcard to
do home recording. after installing it my system has been
crashing with this error:
BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER

I contacted Tascam and they said it wasnt' their problem
and to contact microsoft (great customer support eh? i'll
never buy another tascam product). anyways, has anybody
run into this, and do you know how to fix it?

thanks, checked that out but it didnt really have anything
