Taking 15 min. to send messages in Outlook 2007

As of yesterday, I am having problems sending messages from Outlook. They are
sending, but each takes about 15 minutes, even e-mails without attachments. I
just installed the new update, but that hasn't fixed the problem. Help,
please!
 
Do you have your AntiVirus set to scan outgoing mail, if so disable
