Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6680.5000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6683.5000).

Upon installing the SP3 update, Outlook will intermittently not send outgoing SMTP emails, coming back with Error 0x80040201. This is not due to TCP/IP, spam block, or issues not related to Microsoft. It is a Microsoft / Outlook problem.

The fix is easy.
1. Launch Outlook
2. Click the "File" tab, and
3. Select "Work offline".
....
4. Wait 2-3 minutes, then
....
5. Click the "File" tab, and
6. Select "Work online".

Have a good day!
