Outlook 2007 - emails do not sort by size

T

TonyL

None of my mail folders will sort properly according to "size". All other
heading in all mail folders do sort correctly.

When i select "size". the order of the emails does change (from whatever
header I was using before (e.g., Received) ... but the order appears ot be
random.

I'm running MS XP Pro Ver 2002 SP-3 and MS Office Pro Plus 2007 (Outlook
2007 (12.0.6316.5000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000)).

The only configuration changes I've made are:

- Reading Pane - OFF
- All mail folders are synchronized to "full" when offline
- Contacts are sorted by last name, first name
- Contacts are displayed by last name, first name

"Inbox Repair Tool" is not displayed when I go to "Start>Microsoft
Office>Microsoft Office Tools.

Anyone have any suggestions/fixes??

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I also have Windows XP SP3 and Outlook
2007. For what it's worth, I use a tool called the Oracle Outlook
Connector to get data from our email server, but sort by size worked
fine with this in Outlook 2003.

I also used the Oracle connector when I had Outlook 2003 installed ... and
like you it worked well. I've "installed" the latest version of Oracle
connector (the 1 recommended for Office 2007) ... but the sort still doesn't
work ...even when workin outlook offline.

Thanks for the note!
