Methinks you protest too much about Microsoft,

Can I help it that there is a lot to protest about MS?

"After you have completed your entire installation, you then can connect
to the network (if you already have one established) or follow the steps
to enable Internet access through an Internet Service Provider."

"Once you have Internet access, the very first thing you should do is
follow the steps in Mike Nash's excellent article "Protect Your PC" and
go to www.microsoft.com/protect. Once there, select Window XP as your
operating system and then select the "Let us Do It For You" button to:"

"1. verify the built-in firewall is turned on for your PC; and,"
"2. enable automatic updates for your PC."

http://www.microsoft.com/security/articles/jones_welcome.asp

Of course by the time you do all that, the RPC worm is about to shut
down your computer.
Are you sure you are
not a closet "MS Devotee" ?

I'm not a devotee, nor do I hate MS as an imposter earlier claimed. I
just a rational human being that prefers the truth over FUD. I won't
silently let FUD go without being ridiculed.

You should hear me discussing religion & politics!

Sunny, here are a few of the reasons why MANY, MANY people
who learn to think for themselves are not a closet case or
otherwise any kind of a "M$ Devotee":

Another reason is because Bill Gates has a severe case of
cranial-rectal inversion (otherwise he would use me)
henceforth people like us get stiffed!

Kurt,

Turn off your computer and go watch a movie.
Nobody cares about your rants.

I was just feeling grateful to Kurt for bringing so many mediocre minds into
killfile range. This group is becoming manageably small.

The Microsoft company pays for their server and no doubt has
confidential in-house services and they are nice enough to
also have a "public" newsgroup.

Sure why pay for tech support help when you can get others to do it for you
for free. A smart business plan.
If MS was as "evil" as you haters think, they would not pull
an occasional post, but would block you entirely, which is
their right.

I am not an MS hater, in fact, I think MS is the best software company in
the world and I use almost exclusively all Microsoft products and pay for
them. I think Bill Gates or who ever invented the eula was a business
genious and the money ms and BG have made proves it. I use MS software
because I think it is the best, so you can throw out your ms hater theroy.
The fact is just because I like ms and their products does not mean I have
to agree with everything they or their employees do. I always keep and open
mind, listen to all points of view, weigh the information at hand and then
calls it as I see it. (as any intelligent person should). And in this case
the ms employees in here are picking on kurt, plan and simple, thats the way
I see it.

I read a post, a week or so, ago that identified Kurttrail and ricky (small

Not all that open here, if MS doesn't like what you write.
