The Microsoft company pays for their server and no doubt has
confidential in-house services and they are nice enough to
also have a "public" newsgroup.
If MS was as "evil" as you haters think, they would not pull
an occasional post, but would block you entirely, which is
their right.
The First Amendment only restricts government from
preventing speech. It does not require that anybody listen
or that you will be heard. It also does not require that
someone else pay for your rants.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or
| prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the
freedom of speech, does not mention what MS can do.
| "Not confidential" isn't listed anywhere.

| Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or

| or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to
| petition the government for a redress of grievances.

| Kurt, under law, is allowed to say whatever he wants. Yes
I know about the
| you can't yell fire in a crowded theater argument that
your going to try to
| say, but NO ONE is "yelling fire" here. Posting
information is not yelling
| fire and censoring such posts could violate our government
given rights. Yes
| ms has rules, but they are not above the 1st amendment.
Deleting posts that
| ms thinks are inappropriate can only cause problems with
the community,
| imho.
