Table on slide Prints with grey Background

I have a PowerPoint 2003 presentation with a table embeded into it. The
table has a white background on screen but when I print it the background
appears grey. I have tried changing transpareny and Image Control settings
with no luck. What could this be? I'm curious...

Have you tried changing the B/W settings to Black With White Fill?

Go to View | Color/Grayscale | Grayscale. Then right-click the table and
choose B/W Settings, then Black With White Fill.
