tabbed browsing

I do like the tabbed browsing feature. I know a lot of you complain about it.
One thing I don't like about it is not being able to open a new tab with the
current tabs contents in it. Anyway, I used my computer one evening, using
tabs and doing everything normally. The next morning, without restarting, my
tabbed browsing was gone. It is enabled. I tried to disable it, close IE,
then re-enable it, but it didn't work. I even went as far as to download and
re-install IE 7 still with no success. On the "file" menu, where it has "new
tab," it is gray and not "clickable." I don't know what to do. I am quite
knowledgable about computers so, if you could, please give me some
suggestions.

Hi - I'd love to help, but this is a group for Windows XP, not for IE7. You
might post in an internet explorer newsgroup for more expert assistance.

...One thing I don't like about it is not being able to open a new tab
with the current tabs contents in it.

Try ALT+D, ALT+Enter
...The next morning,
without restarting, my tabbed browsing was gone.
