Tab doesn't indent a bulleted list

Hi,

When I am typing in a bulletted list, hitting tab does not indent a level.
Instead, I have to click the "Increase Indent" button. This isn't optimal.
Does anyone know how I can cause tab to increase the indent?

Thanks!

Tony

In the AutoCorrect dialog box, make sure that "Set left and first indent
with tabs and backspaces" is selected on the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

To display the dialog box:

- Click Tools | AutoCorrect Options. (Word 2003)

- Click the Office button, and then click Word Options. In the Proofing
category, click AutoCorrect Options. (Word 2007)
