Under Hardware the following error message appears: "Cannot access the
Windows Management Instrumentation Software. Windows Management files may be
moved or missing." Is this why I cannot restore my computer to restore
points? Is there a solution to fix this?

Try downloads at microsoft,type in :WMI Locate the xp update.And/or,open
cmd,type:Sfc /Scannow

Thank you! between making sure the Event Log, WMI and Remote Procedure Call
were all running and also running rundll32 wbemupgd, UpgradeRepository all is
