System Information

Hello,
I am running XP Home (SP2).
Suddenly, without any apparent reason, when I try to gather information
about System Summary, hardware resources, etc., from the System Information
option, I receive the following message:
"Can't collect information. Cannot access the Windows Management
Instrumentation Software. Windows Management Files may be moved or missing."
Please Advise & Help. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
