System sounds

during upgrade from 98SE to home XP I seem to of lost
some of system sounds associated with events. For example
windows start up and exit. I know sounds sre installed as
I can browse and play from sound scheme set up.

Not a major problem just somewhat irritating.


Video games and audio cds run fine.

Click start..click control panel..click sounds/audio devices..click sound
