System slow

After reinstalling XP pro and adding a second HD (200Gig) my computer will
not run normally. It will run for about 30 seconds only to pause/hang for ~3
minutes. When I take the second HD off it runs fine. The boot drive is in
Basic and the 2nd is Dynamic does that make a difference?

Have you run Disk CleanUp and Disk Defragmenter?
