System Shutdowns Intermittantly

Loaded older version of Adobe Photoshop Deluxe 3.0 on
Windows 2000 system. Installed failed. Now workstation
will just shutdown and restart. Not certain where to take
problem from here. Can find no trail of install error
anywhere within registry. Ideas?
 
Have you tried the last known good option by hitting F8 before the OS boots?

That might help.
