SYSTEM RESTORE

If I have to re-install windows, how can I back-up my system restore dates
and items so when windows is finished re-installing itself, I can backup my
system resore points and with the correct attributes and information?

Hi,

Basically, you can't. The old restore points will not work in the
reinstalled system.

What you *can* do is use the files and settings transfer wizard to save the
system state, and import it back after the reinstall. This page talks about
