System Restore Doesn't work

Hi,

I need to do a System Restore but I get the following error message when I
try:


An exception occurred while trying to run "C:\WINNT\system32\shell32.dll,
Control_RunDLL
"C:\WINNT\system32\sysdm.cpl",System"


What are my options ?

First thing I'd do is run a RAM test and the mfg's harddrive diagnostic just
to make sure you are not having a hardware problem..

If your H/W is ok but system restore still does not work...

you may want to perform a repair install
