System Recovery

If i perform system recovery will it remove my local area connection i have
or will XP automatically reconfigure this when it has been recovered?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps some else can provide additional information however, when I
recently used system recovery it didn't affect my local connection (I assume
you mean your ISP Dial Up connection) The only thing that I noticed
differently was a desktop download was no longer there and my computer was
back to normal and working correctly. Look for info regarding system
recovery in your help menu. My understanding is you can reverse it if you
desire.

Do you mean a System Recovery as provided by the maker of the machine,
which will restore to ex-factory state and delete everything else, or
the System's own System Restore? System Restore will put such settings
back to the state they were in when the Restore point was made

Apologies i dont think i was very clear i meant a system recovery whereby my
system would be as it was if it was straight from its factory state and not
the systems own restore.

Anyone know what would happen to my connection? If I did lose it how would I
create the connection again??

All help would be much appreciated I just want to make sure of it before I
go ahead and do anything!

As you did on the first occasion. You are going back to square one and
must do all installations and setups over again
