System Messed up-HELP

Ok, its complicated at least to me, but here it goes.
I did sometghing, not sure what, when I rebooted my
computer I received these two messages:
"winlogon.exe-Entry point not found, The procedure entry
point AssoISDangerous could not be located in the dynamic
library SHLWAPI.DLL"
:User inferface dll MSGINA.DLL failed to load, need t
restore dll "
Ok me not being smart put in my boot disk and installed
another version of XP, did not format, it looks like I have
3 versions of XP running on the C drive, two corrupted. I
would like the original back. IS this possible? Can anyone
help? What should i do?

This thread discusses how to delete an unwanted second installation. Just
make you you are clear about which one you want to delete.

Google found someone in Mexico with the "AssoISDangerous" problem. The reply
in Spanish syggests scanning for adware. Try running Spybot which is free
from here....
