MS Windows XP Home edition Crash

I have installed Service Pack 3 from Microsoft web site
and it has crashed my windows XP. The error messages I
get are:
1. The procedure entry point AssoIsDangerous could not be
located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll.
2. User Interface Failure, The logon User Interface DLL
msgina.dll failed to load. Replace the DLL or restore
original DLL.
I have copied fresh copies of DLLs into appropriate
locations but it still does not resolve the problem. MS
admits Service Pack 3 has problems but does nothing to
fix it. Can any of you help please?

Hi,

There is no SP3 for WindowsXP. There isn't even an SP2 yet. Please provide
the location you were downloading from.
