I find information under control panel - administrative tools - event viewer. There are application, security and system subcategories. When my system reboots, it is usually the system subgroup that has information (right-click on an event and select properties). You might have to have this event logging turned on under control panel - system - advanced - startup and recovery - settings. Hope this helps point you in a direction. Karen

A few ideas:

1. overheating
2. bad power supply unit or fluctuating electricity
3. other bad hardware (memory, cracked mother board, etc.)
4. blaster worm (www.microsoft.com/blaster)
5. other virus/worm (your anti-virus software)

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
