When i look at software environment / system drivers, i'm seeing ALOT of drivers were the Description = File Name, File Location = NOT AVAILABLE, Type = KERNAL DRIVER, Started = NO, Start mode = DISABLED, State = STOPPED, Status = OK, Error Control = IGNORE Or NORMAL, Accept Pause = NO, Accept Stop = NO This bothers me to no end. Is there something amiss ?? I'm running XP Home -- which is new to me. I don't remember my old pc (w98) ever having none descriptive drivers in unavailable locations. In the Signed Driver section, there's a few listings of ??(column name) = NOT AVAILABLE all across the line until you get to Device ID which = HTREE\ROOT\0. Others have a name (example, BEEP) NOT AVAILABLE in all other columns until you get to Device ID where there's something like ROOT\LEGACY_BEEP\0
Should i be concerned? I am sluggish and do get frequent errors in kernel 32 (which i never understand fully) Error message usually goes something like " xxx created an error in kernel 32") Thanks Merry Christmas.

Jane, if you are getting alot of Kernel32 errors your OS maybe getting
buggy. If you have a WinXP CD you can try a
Repair Install. http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
